Sandy Calvin

Sandy Calvin, age 74 of Hendersonville, passed away May 29, 2024. She was a member of Life Church of Hendersonville and the General Federation of Women's Club. Sandy worked for many years in the music industry, beginning her career with RCA, Lynn Anderson, and Glen Suttons, and finishing her career with Loretta Lynn Enterprises. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, scrapbooking, making cards, and tending the flowers in her garden.
Preceded in death by her parents, May Bell and Carl "Pete" O. Burnette; sister-in-law, Cora Dickson; mother-in-law, Jewell Calvin; father-in-law, Dorris Calvin, Sr.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Dorris "Brownie" Calvin, Jr.; children, Stacy Calvin Davis (Chance), and David Christian Calvin (Mailynne); grandchildren, Cheyenne Morgan Davis, Presley Rayne Calvin, Chrislynne Mai Calvin, Sloan Marie Calvin, and Skye Reece Calvin; sister, Suzanne Burnette Yeik (John); aunt, Betty Burns (John); brothers-in-law, Ron Dickson and David Calvin (Lucie); nieces and nephews, Jason Alan Smith, Justin Lee Smith (Maureen), Renee Marsee (Don), Katie Calvin Horton (Rusty), and Meredith Calvin Pearson (Gary); many great-nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Sandy's life will be held Sunday, June 9th, at 3:30pm at Life Church of Hendersonville, 120 Indian Lake Blvd. Hendersonville, TN 37075.
