It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Santosh (Sandy), who left this world peacefully on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Cleveland's University Hospital. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, friend, and mentor to many. His legacy will forever remain etched in our hearts.
Born on February 14, 1945, Santosh touched the lives of everyone he encountered. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love enriched our lives in countless ways. As a manufacturing engineer, he dedicated himself to developing cutting-edge manufacturing processes for Curtis-Wright Farris Engineering, where he worked for 43+ years. His work allowed Sandy to live in Germany, Canada, Brazil, the UK, China, and mainly the USA, where he retired as Director of Manufacturing Engineering.
In October 2006, Sandy, a devout orthodox Hindu, fell very sick and experienced a near-death experience. He vividly saw Heaven's gates and conversed with God, who sent him back and gave one directive and five instructions. Sandy fully achieved his directive and instructions and wrote three books, Code Blue 99 - A Miraculous True Story!; The Light, Truth and The Way; and My Encounter with Jesus at Heaven's Gates. He participated in numerous missions and charitable causes, was an active congregant of the Grace Church in Middleburg Heights, OH, where he was baptized in April 2015. He was featured in numerous interviews and talks about his experience and has been featured in a number of books, documentaries, and an upcoming movie.
Santosh is survived by his wife Jharna (Janet), and they recently celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary; his daughter Sandra; son Sumon and his spouse Aparna, along with his granddaughters Ankita and Kashvi. All who knew him would miss his warm smile and gentle guidance.
Friends and family are invited to join us as we honor his memory and share stories of the remarkable man he was. Visitation and Service will be received at BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 RIDGE ROAD, PARMA, OH, USA, from noon until the time of service at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 22, 2024. The family would like to thank the clinicians and staff on the Neurological ICU floor at University Hospital Main Campus Cleveland, OH, who cared for Sandy. Their dedication, compassion and professionalism were a comfort during his final days.
As we say our goodbyes, Santosh is a beacon of love, resilience, and compassion. May his spirit find eternal peace, and may his memory inspire us to live each day with purpose and kindness.
