Saraha J. Floyd, 85, widow of Henry C. "Son" Floyd, died August 22, 2025, at her home.

Born August 8, 1940, in Georgetown County, she was a daughter of the late Oake B. Barnhill and Allie Coker Barnhill. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Mrs. Floyd retired from Pioneer Dress Company. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and also loved to watch hummingbirds.

Survivors include three children, Debbie Pack (Lee) of Sumter, David Floyd (Luisa) of East Norristown, PA, and Steve Floyd (Melodie) of Sumter; eight grandchildren, Lee "Bubba" Pack, IV (Amanda), John Kinlaw, Kelly Floyd, Lisa Marie Kinlaw (Adam Upton), Jennyfer Floyd (Josh Fry), Erica Floyd (Matt Faust), Kayla Hardee (Clayton), and Hannah Floyd; great-grandchildren, Austin Pack, Lauren Pack Gainey (Jacob), Madilyn Kinlaw, Molly Kinlaw, Koa Floyd, Hunter Floyd, Colton Upton, Jenny Floyd, Juniper Fry, Naomi Hardee, and Wyatt Hardee; great-great granddaughter, Emberlynn Pack; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Kinlaw; four brothers, John Barnhill, Sherwood Barnhill, M.D. Barnhill, and Gene Barnhill; and one sister, Letha Welch.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Eastside Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Jerry Underwood. Burial will be in the Sumter Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Eastside Baptist Church and other times at the home.
