Sarann Chea Obituary
74, of Providence, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 8:39pm. He was the beloved husband of Samoeun Loch. Besides his wife, he is also survived by his loving children, Sarath Chea, Sareth Chea, Satharen Loch, and his cherished 8 grandchildren, Dasanie Chea Peña, Sadanie Chea Lidan, Savannah Chea Yim, Ahmiyah Chea Peña, Olivia Rose Chea, Saver Chea Mills, Charlotte Raelynn Chea, Sabastian Chea Brock
Sarann is extremely loved and admired within the Cambodian community in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New York.
Sarann worked as a machine operator for Stanley Bostitch for 25 years before retiring. During retirement, he opened up his own business, Top Ten Video Store, on Union Ave right in the heart of Providence, RI.
Sarann was a excellent musician. He loved Cambodian music. The love that he had for music goes beyond himself. He taught it as well to others. Sarann was always invited to perform at various occasions throughout the New England.
Besides his passion for music, he loved to travel, hike, and go out on his boat. He had a lively spirit and had a well lived life. Saran lived life to the fullest.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday, March 14th from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
