Saundra J. (DeBone) Singer, of Greensburg, died Thursday, November 27, 2025, in the St. Anne Home. She was born November 25, 1945, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Angelo and Jennie E. Cepullio DeBone.
Saundra was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church, where she served as a greeter and as a member of the Cercemaggiore Association. She was a retired Executive Secretary for Westmoreland County 911 and a long-time member of the New Neighbors of Greensburg. She was known by her family and friends as a "professional lunch goer." Saundra loved to read, cook, and entertain for family and friends, and she enjoyed helping Jim with their flower garden. She loved music, especially Frank Sinatra, and cherished the many trips to Naples, FL, her favorite vacation spot. Her nieces and nephews, and their children, were loved by her as if they were her own. She will be greatly missed by many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Palmine Shaw and her husband, Lloyd 'Shorty'; her brother, Joseph DeBone; and brother-in-law, Vincent G. Petroy, Sr.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of thirty-nine years, James R. Singer; her siblings, Joanne Condo (James DiStefano) of Canton, GA, Donna Petroy of Indianapolis, IN and Frank A. DeBone of NC; her in-laws, Dot DeBone of Greensburg, Edward Singer (Patty) of Jeannette, Marie Hutchinson (Keith) of Greensburg, Joyce Custer (Tim) of Greensburg, John Singer of Greensburg and Marty Singer (Lisa) of Latrobe; and fifty-one nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Relatives and friends of Saundra will be received Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020.
Prayers of transfer will be said in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in the Our Lady of Grace Church.
Inurnment will be in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.
Jim would like to offer a special thanks to Michele Kinsey for always being at her side and also thank the staff of St. Anne Home and Bridges Hospice for their loving care and kindness during Saundra's illness. It was most appreciated and did not go unnoticed.
