Saveria Maria Audiffred

Saveria Maria Audiffred was born on December 20, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York to Giuseppe and Francesca Grimaldi. She spent her childhood in Williamsburg, where she and her brother Philip worked in the family butcher shop. It was there that Saveria's deep Italian roots took hold, forming the foundation of her gift for bringing people together and sharing her culture and love with family and friends through her culinary excellence.
Trained as an accountant, Saveria began her career keeping journal transactions for local retail stores. Her dedication and skill led her to a successful 30-plus-year career managing the accounting department for the oil brokerage company, Charles Weber, where she made lifelong friends.
Saveria married Ralph Audiffred on October 14, 1978 at St. Agnes in Rockville Centre, NY. Here they raised two children, Calia and Gregg. Saveria's greatest passion was providing for her family. She found immense happiness in the company of loved ones and in watching them enjoy the meals she so lovingly prepared.
Saveria's legacy of love, strength and generosity lives on through her husband Ralph, her children, Calia Kelly (John) of Rockville Centre and Gregg (Caitlin) of Lido Beach as well as her three cherished grandchildren, Madelyn Kelly, Samuel and William Audiffred, who absolutely adored her. She is predeceased by her parents and brother, as well as her daughter, Dolores.
She will be remembered always for her warmth, her unwavering devotion to family, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
Visting hours are 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Macken Mortuary. Funeral Mass is at 9:45am, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at St. Agnes Cathedral. Followed by burial at St. John's Cemetery in Middle Village, NY.
