Scottie attended Glenbard West High School, where his smile and positive personality won him lifelong friends. He was known for being a good and genuine man. After high school, he earned an associate's degree in automotive technology from College of DuPage.
His passion was "cars and guitars," and he was always hanging out with "the band" or playing guitar and singing in a band. He was even a member of a Barbershop quartet at one time!

R.I.P Scott, it doesn't seem like that long ago we all saw you at a band gig,or I would run into you at market plaza auto parts,where you worked.
