Scott B. Brown, a man whose laughter and kindness touched the lives of many, passed
away peacefully on May 18, 2025, in
Whitinsville, MA. Born on August 27, 1991, in Newton, MA,
Scott's vibrant spirit and warm heart became his signature throughout his 33 years of life.
Scott was the beloved son of Rich and Deborah Brown, a cherished father to his daughter Rilee R. Brown
of Grafton, and a dear brother to Ashley Harvey and her husband David of Woonsocket, RI.
He was a graduate of Natick High School and had attended Franklin High School. Scott carried the
values of hard work and dedication throughout his life. He was employed as an iron worker for RI Local
#37, where he dedicated over a decade of service. His commitment to his craft was evident in the structures
he helped create and in the strong bonds he forged with his colleagues.
Scott's passions extended beyond his work. He was a member of the Elks in Franklin, MA, where he
found camaraderie and community. His adventurous spirit led him to become an avid motorcycle rider
from a young age, a pastime that brought him immense freedom and happiness. Scott's love for the open
road was unmatched, and he relished in participating in bike runs and embarking on road trips to Daytona
and Sturgis.
An outdoorsman at heart, Scott found solace in fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling. The tranquility of
nature was a perfect counterbalance to his bustling social life. Country music was the soundtrack to many
of his adventures, and he could often be found humming along to his favorite tunes.
Scott's sense of humor was one of his most endearing qualities. He was known for his quick wit, fun-
loving nature, and a hint of sarcastic flair that could light up any room. He also loved his mother's stuffed
shells.
Above all, Scott was a devoted father. His love for his daughter Rilee was profound, and he cherished
every moment they spent together. His legacy of love, kindness, and humor lives on through her.
Those who knew Scott would describe him as loving, kind, and funny. He had the rare ability to make an
instant connection with anyone he met, and his presence was a source of comfort and joy. Scott's impact
on the world was as strong as the steel he worked with, and his memory will be cherished by all who had
the privilege of knowing him.
Scott B. Brown's life was a testament to the power of love, friendship, and laughter. He will be deeply
missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him. As we say
