Scott Crouch

Rock Hill – Scott Jeffrey Crouch, 59 went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 3, 2023 from his home in Rock Hill, SC.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30am for Scott and his father-in-law, Richard Given on Friday, January, 6, 2023 at Lakewood Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Devinney and Dr. Tim Franklin officiating.
Mr. Crouch was born in Lakeland, Florida on September 9, 1963. He graduated from Lakeland High School. Scott was the son of the late Phillip and Ruth Crouch of Lakeland Florida.
He worked for IMC Agrico Chemicals in Mulberry Florida. After his move to Rock Hill, he became general manager of the family's business at Express Car Wash and Cherry Rd Lube Shop in Rock Hill.
Scott loved working with children and served as the Children's Director at Northside Baptist Church for many years. His strong faith and love of the Lord was his focus when working in children's ministries. He was seldom seen without his quirky, bigger than his face smile.
He and his wife enjoyed traveling and antiquing and spending time with their family. Scott was a family man that loved and was proud of his sons. His love extended to many of "his kids" in his ministry work, and they all loved and looked up to "Mr. Scott". Scott is a cherished and loyal friend to many and was always available to help and offer up a prayer for any of their needs. He served as deacon and leader of children's ministry at Oakdale Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kelly Given Crouch; his sons, Phillip Crouch and Samuel Crouch of Rock Hill; his brother, Mark Crouch; and sister, Lynn Burns of Lakeland Florida.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Crouch Jr.; and his beloved father-in- law, Richard Given.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Lakewood Baptist Church, 3520 Mt. Gallant Rd, Rock Hill, SC.
