Scott Edward Culp

Scott Edward Culp, age 58, of Georgetown, Texas, went peacefully to be with our Lord on Monday, January 16, 2023.
Scott was born on July 16, 1964, to Robert & Phyllis McFadden Culp in Lincoln, Nebraska. He grew up in various locations around Texas, including Friendswood, and Austin. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1986 with a B.A. in Photography. Following graduation, he held various positions with Dell Computers, and was most recently employed by the Texas Legislative Council IT department for the last 12 years.
Scott enjoyed many things, including photography, genealogy, and was heavily involved in his church. He was a part of the Men's Bible Study and LifeGroup at The Fellowship Church. Scott additionally was very involved in photographing his children's soccer games as they grew up.
Scott met Amy Martin in 1987 in Austin, Texas, and they quickly fell in love. They were married on November 12, 1988 at First United Methodist in Corpus Christi, Texas. Scott & Amy shared a mutual love of scuba diving, traveling, hiking, kayaking, cruising, and attending church. They found their forever church home at The Fellowship in Round Rock, Texas.
Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents Paul and Leigh Culp; his father-in-law Frank Martin; and brother-in-law Lee Martin.
Scott is survived by his wife of 34 years, Amy Martin Culp; his children Cody & Kelly Culp; his parents, Robert and Phyllis Culp; his brother, Jeff (Kim) Culp; sister-in-law Carol (Jim) Gross; brother-in-law Ralph (Ginger) Martin; mother-in-law Ann Martin; uncle Paul (Joan) Culp; many nieces and nephews; and dogs Bug & Cricket.
Memorial Services will be held at Beck Funeral Home, 4765 Priem Lane, Pflugerville, TX 78660, on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 10:30am. A reception will follow after Memorial Services at Beck Funeral Home – Pflugerville.
