Scott E. Dreher

Scott E. Dreher, 55, of Gratz, passed away on January 4, 2022, at the Hershey Medical Center. He was born in Abilene, Texas, on December 30, 1966, a son of Ruth Ann Dreher and the late Palmer Dreher. Scott was employed as a Foreman at Klinger Lumber Company for 33 years.
He was a member of St. Peters United Church of Christ, Lykens, President of the Gratz Fire Company, former second assistant Chief and a member of the Berrysburg Fire Company. He was a Youth Fellowship leader and Cub Scout leader. Scott enjoyed basketball, volleyball, golf, softball, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, spending time with friends at their pool and day adventures to new places
Scott is survived by his wife of 31 years, Laurie Dreher, two sons, Scott (fiancé Kendra) Dreher, Pierce (fiancé Natalie) Dreher; sister, Stacey (Henry) Stehr and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by uncles, Larry Troutman and Paul Dreher, an aunt, Sandy Dreher, father-in-law, Larry Schnerr, grandparents, Paul and Ida Dreher and William and Grace Troutman.
A visitation will be held on January 15, 2022 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at The Valley Lighthouse, Lykens, with a memorial service following at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Gratz Fire Company.
