Raymond Scott Dyer AKA Earl, age 59 was born Feb. 10, 1965. He went to join his heavenly Father June7, 2024 surrounded by loved ones after a hard fight with cancer for over a year.
Scott grew up in Eaton, Co. He loved going out to the Dyer Farm helping his Grandpa and Uncle Roy with whatever they needed. It was a very special place for him to go. In his late teens, Scott worked on a ranch in Walden where he enjoyed the cowboy life, working cattle and horses.
Then trucking grabbed him and he drove truck until his illness. He hauled it all, produce, grain, household but his most favorite love was hauling livestock. In his trucking career he got to see all of our country.
Outside of work he loved football, all types of fishing, either deep sea or lake. His favorite place was to go to Flat Iron where he seldom went home without a stringer full of fish. He also loved to dance and loved music. He self taught himself to play the guitar and spent countless hours "Jammin" with his brother- in –law, ED. And just quietly playing when he thought no one else was listening. Scott's day was the 4th of July, loved big fireworks and food. Tractor pulls were also another favorite, feeling the rumble from the big engines. It would sure put a big smile on his face.
He is survived by the love of his life Wife: Donna Dyer of 16 years, Mom: Janice Rowe, Sons: Jimmy Dyer {Niki}, Kevin Hiner {Shannon}
Daughter: Haley Jo, Naomi Tapia{Victor}, Courtney Rodriguez{ Anthony}
Brother: Robby Dyer {Gerry}
Sisters: Jana Rae Dyer {Denny}, Janell Dyer

Hi Donna, We are so sorry we didn't even know you and Scott were back in CO. It would have been good to have a chance to see Scott again and get to know you. My favorite memories of Scott are of this little guy with a sparkle in his eyes who loved to tease me. And the one time we all went swimming, I can't even begin to count the number of times he dunked me. But it was all in fun and he had a ball doing it, I survived and it gave us something to laugh about later. I know Scott is in Heaven as I wright this and I am so happy for that. I hope he will look my dad up and go fishing with him. We will miss him but will see him soon. And Donna, if there is anything we can do for you please let us know. Love and prayers, Jerry and Linda Dennis
