Scott spent 25 years as a Director of Photography working in television, movies, and commercials. He was an Adjunct Professor at the New York Film Academy in LA, teaching classes in Form and Function: Applied Modern Color Theory and Technique. Scott spent one year in Israel, as a freelance Photographer and did a six-month stint with the Israel Defense Forces. His dedication to his faith and Israel and his broad commanding knowledge of the country made him a compelling advocate of the current situation and Zionist movement. He was in the process of documenting the events of October 7, 2023 in Israel. To that end, he had conducted interviews with residents, rabbis, and dignitaries of Kibbutz K'far during his most recent visit to Israel in May 2024.
Scott's outgoing manner and friendly attitude made him a friend to all, thus enabling him to be a mentor and advisor to his clients. Scott would devote himself to the current project of the moment or his studies, such as playing the guitar, studying, or focusing on a class.
