Folsom Funeral Service – Dedham ChapelScott A. Marchese, a resident of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, and formerly of Dedham, died Friday, August 15, 2025 at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. He was 60. Scott was born June 10, 1965 in Somerville, Massachusetts, the son of Rocco Charles Jr., and Elaine (Kern) Marchese. He worked as an auto mechanic and enjoyed working on cars, playing the guitar, building weekly fires in his firepit, his playstation, and his dog Penny. Scott was the beloved husband for 14 years of Susan Masur, and the dear son of Elaine Marchese of Dedham. He was predeceased by his father, Rocco Charles Marchese Jr., who passed in January of 2024. He is also survived by his two sons, Scott A. Marchese Jr. of Ohio, and Richard Marchese of Ohio; his three stepchildren, Matthew Masur of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, Amie Masur of Seattle, Washington, and Alex Masur, and his wife Nicole, of Washington, Pennsylvania; his brother, Wayne Marchese, and his wife Sandra, of Waltham; his sister, Elaine Canniff, and her husband Billy, of Florida; and his nieces and nephews, Justin Marchese, Lindsey Marchese, Natalee Canniff, and Nicholas Canniff. Visiting hours will be held Friday, August 22, 2025 from 4 to 8 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service Saturday at 10 am at St. Mary's Cemetery, 290 Grove Street, West Roxbury, MA
