Scott Chamberlin Miller

Scott Chamberlin Miller (January 14, 1972 - March 14 2023) of Aurora, Ohio, passed away suddenly from health complications, surrounded by his family. He is survived by loving parents, Michael and Lynn Miller of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; his sister, Leigh Ann Miller (Paul Battaglia) of Mentor, Ohio; and children, Tatum Lorren Miller, 20, Torrence Ann Miller,19, (both attend University of South Carolina) and Aidan Chamberlin Miller, 13.
Scott graduated with a psychology degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and spent most of his professional career in sales.
Scott was always the life of the party. He knew how to make someone laugh with his unfailing, witty, quirky sense of humor. He was bigger than life when telling stories because he had an eccentric creative flair. He absolutely loved the holidays, not only because of his "over the top" decorating, but because it was always the time of year that family and friends would gather. Scott was a dreamer and he enjoyed writing stories and screen plays in hopes of seeing one published someday. He loved watching movies after seeing Star Wars for the first time in 1977 and enjoyed introducing his kids to his all-time favorite movies that typically were in the science fiction or horror genre.
Scott knew how to say the right things at the right time to comfort others, especially his own children and their friends. He was an honorary "Dad" to many of them.
Scott would tell you his greatest accomplishment and source of pride was his three children. You could always find him supporting and cheering them on regardless of the activity. During the last few years of his life, he found the "yin to his yang" with Laura Mullin.
Scott will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Federated Church, Chagrin Falls, Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
