Scott Muncy Sr.

Scott Muncy, Sr, 89, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away November 2nd, 2023 at his home.
Born, February 16, 1934, in Leslie County, Kentucky to Dill Sr. and Bertha (Roberts) Muncy.
On May 23,1959 he married Marteena M. Sizemore, in Hyden, Kentucky. She preceded him in death on March, 29, 1996. They had five children: Melissa (Gerald) Barrett of Seymour, Indiana, Gregory (Patsy) Muncy of Crothersville, Indiana, Deanna (Brian) Campbell of Seymour, Indiana, Scott Jr (Bobbie) Muncy of Seymour, Indiana, and Robert Muncy.
Grandchildren: Lisa Barrett of Seymour, Indiana, Gerald Scott Barrett, Trisha Muncy of Crothersville, Indiana, Cassaundra Campbell of Seymour, Indiana, Zachary Campbell, of Seymour, Indiana, and Eli Muncy of Crothersville, Indiana. Step-Granddaughters: Heidi Anthony of Seymour, Indiana and Virginia Anthony of Indianapolis, Indiana Step Great Granchildren: Julia Quirino of Seymour Indiana, Alexandria Quirino of Seymour, Indiana, Jaret and Jessiah Quirino of Seymour, Indiana, and Carmendee Quirino of Seymour, Indiana. One sister, Jennifer Morgan of Mooresville, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dill Sr., and Bertha Muncy, his wife, Marteena M.
Muncy, his son, Robert Muncy, his grandson, Gerald Scott Barrett, and Sisters: Edith Brock, Betty Sizemore, Hazel Reagan, Ethel Brock, Blanche Hubbard, Mary Brock,and Martha Brock.
Brothers: Stanley Muncy, Dill Muncy, Jr., Remine Muncy and his twin, Paul Muncy.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Nicky Spicer officiating.
Visitation will be 11 am to 1 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
