Scott A. Rivet, age 61, of Neenah, passed away at his home on Thursday September 12, 2024 with his wife Michelle and daughter Danielle by his side. Scott was born on June 30, 1963 son of the late Norman "Tony" and Anna Marie (Slacum) Rivet. He graduated from Menasha High School in 1981 and then served in the U.S. Army from 1981 until 1991 being honorably discharged with the rank of Sargeant. Scott worked at Fox Valley Spring for 32 years and was a Production Supervisor. He married Michelle on August 25, 2001 having just celebrated 23 years. Scott was an avid hunter and was always chasing that elusive 8-point buck.
In addition to Michelle he is survived by his daughters, Danielle Kaddatz (Mike), Trisha (Rich) Walton and Ashley (Brandon) Graham. Scott's daughters were his pride and joy. He is further survived by his granddaughter Paige, grandsons Tyler, Jaymesen, Charley and Kaleb; brothers and sisters, Steve (Ilene) Rivet, Sharon Kozlowski, Tracy (Gerry) Mignon and Paul (Dannie Sue) Rivet; mother-in-law, Joan Brown, brothers and sisters-in-law, Keith (Rhonda) Kevin (Cathy), Kirk and Kerry Brown, Maria (Quintin) Johnson; his best friend Beef and his snuggle buddy Harper, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and also his Fox Valley Spring Family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Brenda, brother-in-law, Ken Kozlowski, father-in-law, Elmer Brown, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Memorial services for Scott will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 24, 2024 at the Kessler Fahrenkrug Funeral Home 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of services. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Neenah-Menasha Funeral Honors Team following services.
The family would like to thank the Theda Care Cancer Center Neenah, especially all the amazing nurses, Dr. Klinkhammer, and Theda Care Hospice especially Lexie. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
