Scott S. Wahlstrom

Scott Wahlstrom, of Mentor, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Born on December 20th, 1963 in Cleveland to John I. Wahlstrom and Virginia (Schmidt) Wahlstrom, Scott lived a life full of spirit and adventure.
Scott was a proud graduate of Ashland University where he met the love of his life, Synthia (Shearer) Wahlstrom. A lifelong sports fan, Scott could be found watching anything from football to ping pong. He loved the beach at Fairport Harbor and going on spontaneous car trips. Scott never met a stranger and could connect with anybody he came across. He was very proud of his children who both attended The Ohio State University. Those who knew him will remember him as a great conversationalist and friend.
His family is immensely grateful to the staff at Chardon Healthcare and Traditions Hospice for the amazing and compassionate care he received at the end of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sindy, his children Andrew Wahlstrom (Bethany) and Nicole Miller (Blaine), and his cousins Andrea Sullivan and Bryan Sullivan (Amy). He was preceded in death by his parents and cousin Christopher Sullivan.
Funeral service will be at Johnson Funeral Home in Painesville, Ohio on Saturday, May 10, 2025 with a visitation beginning at 1:00 pm and a service at 3:00 pm.
