Scott Wanner Obituary

Scott grew up in Virginia Beach and later attended East Carolina University, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science. He met the love of his life, Heather, in Memphis, and the two were married in 1999. Together they built a family, raising their daughter, Alden, and their son, Josh.
Scott was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother. He is survived by his wife, Heather Wanner; his daughter, Alden Wanner; his son, Josh Wanner; his mother, Jane Sinnott; his father, William Wanner; his brother, Chris Wanner; and his sister, Jennifer O'Malley.
Those who knew Scott will remember his loving, caring, and humorous spirit. He gave of himself unconditionally, never asking for recognition. Whether celebrating life's small victories or great accomplishments, he was always proud of those around him. Scott loved deeply and shared that love freely with family, friends, and everyone he met, and if you knew Scott, you knew his contagious laugh.
A celebration of life will be held at The Vine Community Church on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., with a light reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Scott's name to The Vine Community Church.
