Our loving husband, father, son and brother, passed away peacefully at home, on Sunday, August 11, 2024. Age 54 years.
Scott was born on August 20, 1969, son of Linda Willard (Federico) and Dennis (Carol) Wojciechowski, in Saginaw. He married Dana Van Buren on April 16, 1994. She survives him. Scott had been employed at GW Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. with 35 dedicated years of service. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, golf leagues at Beach Hollow and bowling leagues at Lefevres Family Bowl. He loved NASCAR and was an avid sports fan. Scott enjoyed the outdoors, traveling with his family, staying at the cabin, camping, flying his kites and was a great handyman, earning him the title “MacGyver.” Scott was very loving and had a big presence, even though he was quiet. He loved to have fun and enjoyed living life.
Besides his wife Dana, Scott is survived by daughter, Courtney Wojciechowski; his parents, brother, Chad (Joan Romatz) Wojciechowski; sister, Jaimie (Jeffrey) Dilts; in-laws, Deborah Van Buren, Stephanie (Michael) Willett, Theodore (Angela) Van Buren,III , Stacey (David) Cruz, Mark Van Buren, Cody Van Buren; too many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to count. Scott was predeceased by his step-father, Ronald Willard, grandparents, Donald (Rena) Federico, Walter (Rose) Wojciechowski and Betty MacArthur-Smith; mother-in-law, Mary Princinsky and father-in-law, Theodore Van Buren, Jr.
Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 North River Road. Rev. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the family will be present for a vigil service at 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
