Scott Yoder, 54, of Waterville, Ohio, passed away on July 14, 2025.
Born on October 29, 1970, in Bowling Green, Scott was the son of Harold and Rose Yoder. He graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1989 and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Bowling Green State University in 1993.
On December 28, 1991, Scott married Lisa (Hammon) Yoder in Wayne, Ohio. Together, they built a life centered around love, family, and community. Scott was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a beloved son, brother, and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa; their children, Grant and Gillian; and his mother, Rose. He is also survived by his siblings: Harold Yoder Jr., Deb (Dan) Santogrossi, Valerie (Mark) Anderson, Patricia (Frank) Coss, Todd (Jessica) Yoder, and Jeremy Yoder.
Scott found immense joy in supporting his children's athletic pursuits, especially in gymnastics and diving. He was an avid fan of Star Wars and a lifelong supporter of Ohio State Football.
A gathering to celebrate Scott's life will take place on Friday, July 18, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Hope United Methodist Church in Whitehouse, Ohio, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope United Methodist Church or Animal House Rescue, honoring Scott's love for his faith and animals.
