Scott Bradley Yoe, 70, of Chillicothe, died at 11:40 a.m., on Monday morning, December 11, 2023, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus. He was born on Sunday, March 22, 1953, in Ross County, the son of the late John R. and Juanita Brown Yoe, Sr.. On June 11, 2009 he married the former Elsie McManus and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Elsie, Scott is survived by his three children, Valerie (Jon) Campbell of Washington C.H., Scott (Tania) Yoe of Nashville, TN, Tim (Heidi) Yoe of Chillicothe, two stepsons, Travis (Margo) McManus of Washington C.H., David (Letha) Jude of Chillicothe, eight grandchildren, Timothy James, Cayden Scott, Faylynn Renee, Dylan Scott, Mason Allen, Gianna, Rayna, Connor, one great-grandchild, Jaxon, four sisters, Vickie Earls, Cathy Sims, Trudy Woolett, Anita Lane. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, John R. Yoe, Jr., and his best friend, Austin Downing.
Scott proudly served his country in the United States Army. He later worked and retired from Ross County Correctional Institute. He was a member of the American Legion Post 62, AMVETS, and VFW. He loved to fish. He also enjoyed woodworking and could build anything.
Friends and family are invited to visit with Scott's family at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m., where Pastor Dan Bennett will officiate. Burial will follow in Brown’s Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg, with military honors accorded.
