and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
Sean Pearson Elwood, age 34, died unexpectedly at his residence on March 14, 2025 and was sent to his eternal home. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.
Sean was born in Ft. Worth, Texas and eventually moved with his family to Austin, Texas. He graduated from the Art Institute of Austin with a degree in film making and screenwriting. Sean became an author of horror fiction and published the books AfterLife/AfterDeath - Stories for the Dark, Where The Bad Kids Go, and Halls of Sorrow. He was the screenwriter for the screenplays Dispatch, I'm Still Here, Pyre, and Grosvenor Arms, earning such titles as Honorable Mention, Semi-Finalist, Top 100 Features, and Winner 13Horror.com Film and Screenplay Contest 2022.
Sean is survived by his loving parents, Stephen and Debra, his brother Stephen, Jr., and sister Megan. He also leaves behind grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who loved and adored him dearly. A Celebration of Life gathering to honor Sean and share stories about him will be held on March 28, 2025, from Noon to 6:00PM, at the residence of his parents - 156 Silverado Dr, Georgetown, Texas 78633
