Sean Dionn Mitchell

The homegoing celebration for Mr. Sean Dionn Mitchell, 47, of Morrow, Georgia, will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the Saint Luke Baptist Church, 620 East Main Street in Dexter, Georgia. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Mitchell was born on Friday, November 21, 1975, in Hempstead, New York, to Willie Mae Wynn and Bernell Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 7, 2023, with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Louise (Otis) McRae, James (Alice) Fuller, paternal grandparents, McCarty and Cassie Mitchell, his brother, Tara McRae, uncles, Ronald McRae, Lewis McRae, aunts, Clora McRae, Glenda (Paul) Plummer, and Martha Howard, and by his stepfather, Rufus Cooper.
Mr. Mitchell leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Willie Mae (the late Rufus) Cooper of Morrow, Georgia, his father, Bernell (the late Barbara) Mitchell of Hempstead, New York, his life-time companion, Renae McClendon of East Dublin, Georgia, three daughters, Shon-Tia Mitchell of Durham, North Carolina, Sanaii Mitchell and Saraji Mitchell, both of East Dublin, Georgia, step-son, JaQuon Ortiz of East Dublin, Georgia, one granddaughter, Ja'Nhala Ortiz, two sisters, Yolanda Walker of Hampton, Georgia, and Erica Cooper of Stockbridge, Georgia, three nephews, Akeem Walker of Byron Georgia, Ramod Godfrey of Stockbridge Georgia, Ricari Godfrey of Norfolk Virginia, three nieces, Andrea Walker of Byron, Georgia, Riciyah Godfrey and Makayelah Stanley of Stockbridge, Georgia, great aunt, Lucille Higdon of Milledgeville Georgia, aunts, Charlotte (Ervin) Williams of Savannah Georgia, Betty (Robert) Wells of Birmingham Alabama, Velma Vickers of Dublin, Georgia, two uncles, Otis (Mary) McRae of Morrow Georgia, and Norman Fuller of Dublin, Georgia, two great-nieces, Autumn and Ameris Walker of Byron Georgia, and one great-nephew, Akeem Walker, Jr., of Byron, Georgia, special caregivers, Tameko Denson of Jackson, Georgia, and Cathy Hill of McDonough, Georgia, and a host of cousins and close friends.
The family will be receiving friends at 116 Pinecone Drive in East Dublin, and at 402 Woodard Street in Dublin.
