Sean Patrick Watson, 47, of Rushville, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025, at his residence.

He was born February 2, 1978, in Buffton, IN to Arthur Watson and Yvonne (Gardener) Watson.

He was a member of Shelbyville Community Church. Sean had a love for nature. He enjoyed going on walks and out on drives. He also enjoyed talking to people. Everywhere he went, he would always find someone to talk to and something to talk about. Most of all, Sean loved spending time and making memories with his girls.

He married Betsy M. (Wendelboe) Watson on February 6, 2021, and she survives.

He is also survived by his mother; his daughters, Huntley Dee Watson, Hennley Maria Watson and Hazley Payton Watson; his step-sons, Jordan Sturgill, Jayden Sturgill and Jaylen Sturgill; his sister, Kim Noble; mother of their 3 children, Daniell Thomas and his mother and father-in-law, Merry and Brad Popplewell.

He was preceded in death by his father; his sister, Wendy Watson and his beloved dogs, Luke and Reba.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
