Serafim C. Mimoso, 92, passed away surrounded by his loving family at St. Luke's Hospital on Saturday, December 27, 2025. He was born in Melo, Portugal, the son of the late Antonio Crespo and the late Patrocinia (Mimoso) Crespo and was loving husband of 60 years to Helen (Teixeira) Mimoso.
Serafim was a long time Line Inspector at Chamberlain Manufacturing Co. and served as UAW Union Delegate. He was a devout supporter of Sporting Club de Portugal and could often be found tending his garden or traveling with his beloved wife.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; son, Michael Mimoso; grandchildren, Benjamin Mimoso, Jacob Mimoso, Meagan Walker and her husband Matthew, Erin Langlois and her husband William; great grandchildren, Emerson Langlois, John Langlois and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister Maria Dulce Pereira.
In accordance with his families wishes, services will be private.
