Sergio Alcivar Obituary

He is survived by his son, Christopher Alcivar of Dallas, Texas; his sister-in-law, Roberta Fusco of Daytona Beach, Florida; and his niece, Jennifer Fusco of Charlotte, North Carolina, along with many friends who will remember him with love.
Sergio proudly served in the U.S. Army as an instructor at the School of the Americas in Colón, Panama. Following his military service, he began a distinguished career with the Central Intelligence Agency in Langley, Virginia, where he retired after earning the National Intelligence Medal.
Daytona Beach became Sergio's home in his later years, a place where he could devote time to the game he loved-golf. Beyond the fairways, he will be remembered by all who knew him for his quick wit, humor, and enduring friendship.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11th, at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond, 733 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174, 386-673-1100, followed by a Reception at 1:00 p.m. at LPGA International Clubhouse, 1000 Champions Dr, Daytona Beach, FL 32124. He will be interred with his wife at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
