You are never forgotten you are always in our hearts.

My first memory of Shalom was us being introduced by George and I went to shake his hand and he immediately grabbed me and hugged me and said, "I do hugs". Every experience with him after that was always the same. Warm, inviting, loving. I enjoyed always getting into debates with him about conspiracy theories and politics/religion. He was so opinionated but also so intelligent. One of our last conversations was a deep one. I´m grateful for that. This is such a loss to everyone who loved him. To know Shalom, was to love him. May he rest in peace and I hope to see that goofy smile again one day. Sending my love to his family.

My first memory of Shalom I will never forget and I told him about it too. It was my first time on a boat in Chicago meeting my soul family. Little did I know that day the impact of that short hours on the boat that day. Captain Justin parked the boat after we left the dock near the bay by the big fountain (sorry I don´t know the name but the really big, well known fountain here in Chicago), and Shalom was the only one who stepped off the boat onto the boardwalk. My first memory of him was this... he was smiling and greeted a stranger´s brown dog and was petting him for about a minute. I watched him the whole time because of his smile. He was just so vibrant and full of life. The same day there is another beautiful memory but only George and Blake know what it is because that´s my first memory of them too. We were in the lake and trying to find a bottle of juice that Shalom tossed in the water. Honestly the best day of my life so far. Shalom is a beautiful soul and I will miss him until its my time to leave too. May he rest in peace and may his family be comforted by the beautiful memories of him. I love you Shalom!
