Shana Leigh Gariepy, 36, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 26, 2022.
She was born November 19, 1985 in Lowell, Massachusetts, daughter of Kellie Robbins of Wheeling, WV and Denis Gariepy of Sarasota, FL.
Shana attended Warwood schools before moving to Kansas. She later graduated from Riverview High School in Sarasota, FL and went on to earn her EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) Certification at Meridian College in St. Louis, Missouri.
Everyone who met Shana was captivated by her beauty, humor and compassion. She was absolutely beautiful, inside and out. As an older sister to four girls, she instinctively became a motherly figure. Growing up, she spent a lot of family time in Salisbury Beach, Lake Winnipesaukee.
In addition to her mother and father, she is survived by her stepfather, Douglas Robbins; sisters, Erin Gariepy and Jillian Robbins, all of Wheeling, WV, Julia and Erica Gariepy of Sarasota, FL and Brianna Robbins of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; nieces and nephew, Aaliyah & Caden Bluett of Houston, TX and Arya Mogan of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; grandmothers, Rita Ballos of Lowell, MA and Eleanor Gariepy of Sarasota, FL; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (800-805-5856)
Friends will be received Friday, October 7, 2022 from 4 PM until the time of service at 8 PM with Deacon Doug Breiding officiating at Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling, WV 26003 (304-277-2722).
