Myrl "Bud" Gariepy, a beloved husband, father, and friend, peacefully passed away on April 8, 2025, in Denver, Colorado. Born on February 10, 1945, in the quaint town of Tryonville, Pennsylvania, Bud was a man whose heart was as vast as his sense of humor. He was a jokester at heart, effortlessly lighting up any room he entered with his laughter and kindness.
Throughout his life, Bud was known for his generous spirit and unwavering honesty. Friends and family alike were drawn to his helpful nature, always ready to lend a hand or share a smile. His witty remarks and infectious laughter will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Bud had an array of hobbies that brought him joy, with camping being one of his favorites. He cherished the tranquility of nature and relished the adventures he shared in the great outdoors. Additionally, Bud found delight in indulging in bingo games and piecing together complex jigsaw puzzles, often turning simple activities into cherished memories.
Among his proudest accomplishments was his role as a father to his son, Andrew, whom he loved deeply. Bud took immense pride in guiding Andy through life, instilling in him the values of kindness, humor, and generosity that defined his own character. Their bond was a testament to his devotion and care, a legacy he leaves behind for his family to cherish.
Bud is survived by his loving wife, Linda, and his beloved son, Andrew. Together, they will carry forward his spirit and the warmth of his love, remembering him not just as a man who worked hard, but as one who found joy in the simplest of things and shared it generously with those around him.
As we reflect on the life of Myrl "Bud" Gariepy, we are reminded of the impact one person can have through their laughter, kindness, and love. His presence graced our lives with joy, and though he may have departed from this world, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those he leaves behind.
