Shane Clontz, born on October 11, 1977, in Guilford, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, in his hometown of Guilford, at the age of 47. He succumbed to Stage IV adenocarcinoma, surrounded by the love and care of his family and friends.

Shane was a man of great character, known for his kind heart and unwavering faith in Our Lord. Throughout his life, he was successful in all of his endeavors, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, William Clontz and Nancy Hunt Summers. Shane leaves behind a loving family, including his cherished children: Gabby and her husband Thomas Bailey, Shane M. Clontz, Breanna and her husband Isaiah Sartin, Katrina Clontz, Michaela Clontz, Victoria Clontz, and Kevin Clontz. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Clair, Savanna, Hunter, Hudson, Sadie and Kaliyah.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Meredith Ehrenreich and Kelley Darby for the exceptional care and support they provided during Shane's final days.

A service to honor and celebrate Shane's life will be announced at a later date. In this time of mourning, we remember Shane for his compassion, his devotion to his family, and his steadfast love for his faith. May he rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
