Shane Gray LaFleur peacefully left this Earth on September 17, 2023, in Pass Christian, MS at the age of 52. He was born in Gulfport, MS on June 12, 1971.
Shane was preceded in death by his father, Edwin M. LaFleur his maternal grandparents Louis Giuffria and Lois Giuffria; who loved him and bought his first bike at the age of one, he also taught him to drive at the age of 8 sitting on his lap; and his paternal grandparents, Leilan Gray LaFleur and Elizabeth Mayhall LaFleur, affectionately known as Mimi, who loved Shane dearly.
He is survived by his loving mother, Janet Giuffria Dyess, who loved him with all of her heart and never let him leave without a kiss and a hug and a bag full of food; his stepfather, Robert "Sonny" Dyess, Jr.; his stepsister whom he adored, Stephanie Dyess McQueen (Bill); stepbrothers, Jason Dyess (Jennifer) and Sandy Dyess (Brittany); his special Aunt Pam and Uncle Ed Lipscomb; and his cousins, Wendy and Jonathan. He is also survived by his very special companion of 18 years, Michelle Ford and his fur baby Annabelle, who he treated as his child. He leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Shane lived in El Paso, Texas and Athens, Greece when his father was stationed in the United States Army. Shane never met a stranger. He was loved and adored by all his friends throughout his life. He attended Gulfport High School and also St. Petersburg Junior College in Florida. He was the life of the party wherever he went and loved pulling pranks on his friends. He was constantly making everybody laugh at his jokes and antics. Shane truly loved life. He worked many jobs in the hospitality industry and also in his family's trucking business. He owned Gray's Professional Cleaning Service which he operated for many years.
Nobody loved Shane more than his mother. He was her world. He will forever be wrapped around her heart. He had the kindest heart and was loved by so many friends and he will be deeply missed. Sonny and Janet will deeply miss their conversations on the deck with their son.
He leaves this world for a much better place with God and Heaven.

Visitation will be held on Saturday September 23, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00PM, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS.
