Shane lived in El Paso, Texas and Athens, Greece when his father was stationed in the United States Army. Shane never met a stranger.  He was loved and adored by all his friends throughout his life.  He attended Gulfport High School and also St. Petersburg Junior College in Florida.  He was the life of the party wherever he went and loved pulling pranks on his friends.  He was constantly making everybody laugh at his jokes and antics. Shane truly loved life. He worked many jobs in the hospitality industry and also in his family's trucking business.  He owned Gray's Professional Cleaning Service which he operated for many years.

Nobody loved Shane more than his mother. He was her world. He will forever be wrapped around her heart. He had the kindest heart and was loved by so many friends and he will be deeply missed. Sonny and Janet will deeply miss their conversations on the deck with their son.
