With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shane Michael Pierron, who left this world on February 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on March 2, 1976, in Houma, Louisiana, Shane will be remembered for his kind spirit and unwavering dedication to his family and community.
A devoted husband, Shane spent 25 wonderful years alongside Kandi Chauvin. Together, they built a life rich with love and laughter. Shane's warmth and comforting presence will be profoundly missed by his beloved sons: Shawn, Chance, Jacob, and Blake Pierron, who will carry forward the lessons he imparted and a piece of him in their hearts.
A hardworking individual, Shane served as a superintendent at Frisco Construction Co. His commitment and strong work ethic was matched only by his passion for life. Shane was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. He approached life with an open heart and a welcoming spirit, leaving a positive mark on everyone who crossed his path.
Shane enjoyed the freedom of long motorcycle rides, the thrill of deer hunting, and the tranquility of fishing trips. Family camping adventures brought him immense joy, creating cherished memories under clear skies and starry nights. For Shane, there was nothing quite like the simple pleasure of sitting in his favorite spot on his porch swing, soaking in the warmth of summer days and spending time with family and friends passing by.
Loved and respected by many, Shane is survived by his beloved wife Kandi; his parents Roger Pierron and Susan Authement; his sons Shawn, Chance, Jacob, and Blake; his siblings Nicholas Pierron, David Pierron, Derek Authement (Frannie), Tammy Pellegrin (John), Dudley Authement, Jr. (Julienne), and Kaiann Schouest (Lance); his grandkids Bhodie, Kaleb, Conner and Channing; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren. His enduring legacy of kindness and friendship will be carried on by all who knew him.
Shane is preceded in death by his son Tray Toups; his grandparents Victor and Dorita Pierron, Lawrence and Thelma Trahan; his step parents Dudley Authement, Sr. , Patsy, and uncle Shedrick Pierron.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, February 12, 2026 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home's Magnolia Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m.
Shane will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he may no longer be with us, his legacy will live on.
