Shanna Jones age 67 of Stearns, Kentucky passed from this life on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.
In keeping with her wishes, Shanna will be cremated.
She was born on September 11, 1957 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Bud Watson and Calla Fay (Massengale) Watson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Jones; brothers, Eugene Watson and Ernie Watson; and a sister, Sheila Kay Shane.
Surviving family include her sons, Robert B. Jones, Anthony R. Jones, and Joshua W. Jones; grandchildren, Alexis Jones, Cameron Jones, Bailey Jones, and Jaxson Jones; a great-grandson, Lincoln; a brother, Samuel Watson; and sisters, Mattie Jean Watson and Sonya Watson. Shanna also leaves behind nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Shanna was a homemaker but had worked as a substitute teacher. She was proud to have gotten her GED and went back to college in her 40's. Shanna loved her family, raised good children, and loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.
