Timothy Paul Stacy, age 65, of Stearns, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee.
Born in Hazard, Kentucky, on April 20, 1960, he was the son of the late Kelsey Columbus Stacy and Lois Wells. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Stacy and an infant brother Gregory Stacy.
Survivors include is wife Rebecca (Flynn) Stacy of Stearns, a son, Timothy Stacy II, of Richmond, Kentucky, a daughter, Marshell Stacy of Richmond, a step son, Shawn Richardson of Irvine, Kentucky and two step-daughters: Victoria Richardson of Irvine, Kentucky and Niki Richardson of Winchester, Kentucky. There is a brother Anthony Stacy (wife Georgia) of Hazard and several grandchildren.
Timothy had been a truck driver and was previously a deputy sheriff and firefighter in Perry County, Kentucky. He also had been an engineer at WYMT Eastern Kentucky News. He enjoyed fishing and making fly fishing flies. He also liked to hunt.
Per his wishes cremation was chosen and the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
