Shannon Marie Hussey, 51, of Biddeford, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on April 2, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with renal failure.
Born to Debbie (Desjardins) Carmel and Peter Carmel of Wells, Maine. Shannon graduated from Wells High School in 1992, attended the University of Maine for communications, and later became a massage therapist.
Shannon had a deep love of meeting new people and spending time with her family while experiencing new adventures, going to Patriots football games, camping, snowmobiling and riding her side by side. Shannon was always cheerful and smiling, she had the type of positive energy that brushed off and energized everyone around her, she never complained or showed signs of weakness even when she was so tired.
Shannon leaves behind her loving husband Jason Hussey of Biddeford, her parents Debbie and Peter Carmel of Wells, her daughter Hailey and her husband Andrew Howe of Limington, son Dylan Woodman of Sanford, stepson Jason Hussey jr. and Maddy from Hollis Center, stepdaughter Katrina and husband John Leeman of New Mexico, brother Peter Carmel jr. from Texas, and her cherished grandchildren Mason, Rosalina, and RiverLynn.
To observe her wishes there will be no services.
