Shannon Alyse Miller 37, lifelong resident of Ashland passed away on October 18, 2024 at home with her family by her side following a courageous fight with breast cancer.
Shannon was born September 22, 1987, the daughter of Tamra Ahl of Ashland and James Miller of Wadsworth.
Shannon graduated from Ashland High School Class of 2006 and was employed by Ashland City Schools Transportation Department where she continued to greet her students with her contagious smile all throughout her battle.
The greatest joy of Shannon's life was spending time with her daughter Shelby "Alex" Siegenthaler and son Jaxson Bennett enjoying family dinner and game nights together.
In addition to her parents and children she is survived by her sisters Molly (Paul) Schoen of Sandusky and Healey (Jim) Davidson of Claremore, Oklahoma and half-brothers Aaron, Dylan and Alec Miller of Wadsworth as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her special companion, Charlie Roberts.
Shannon is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Freeman and Marilyn Harper and paternal grandparents James and Katherine Miller as well as special Great Aunt Glorine Kirkwood.
A memorial service will be held Saturday October 26th, 2024, at First Christian Church 1425 King Road Ashland, Ohio with her uncle Rich Pate presiding. Friends may call from 10 am until service at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family for Shannon's children's future educational expenses.
