Shannon was born the daughter of John and Neta (Keeney) Bales on November 24, 1975 in Wichita, Kansas.
Shannon was a woman whose heart was a radiant beacon of compassion and love. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness and the transformative effect of a warm smile. She had an uncanny ability to illuminate the world around her, making it a better place for everyone she met. Shannon was a beloved resident of Wellington, Kansas, where she poured her boundless love into her work as a CNA/CMA, serving others with grace and love.
Shannon had a traveler's soul and an adventurer's heart who loved to explore new places. She never met a stranger, only friends she hadn't gotten to know yet. This was a testament to her kind spirit and the way she perceived the world. The love she had for her family was immeasurable, extending to each person she encountered. Still, her most cherished treasures were her grandchildren, shining stars in the constellation of her life.
Survivors include her husband, Scott Pruitt; son, Eric (Crystal) Pruitt; daughter, Mariah Pruitt; grandchildren, Rylan Williams; Rexton Williams; Eric Pruitt Jr.; parents, John (Neta) Bales; brothers, Jakyah (Sierra) Bales; Jesse (Chelsea) Bales; sister, Jill (Marshall) Bales; brother in law, Kevin (Joanna) Pruitt; sisters in law, Rhonda Pruitt-Owens; Andrea Pruitt-McCarty; along with numerous other family members.
She is preceded in death by parents in law, Don Pruitt and Marcia Abasolo; and brother, Chris Bales.
There are no services planned at this time and a private interment will take place at a later date.
In memory of Shannon, the family asks that you consider making a memorial donation to the Wellington Humane Society, P.O. Box 494, Wellington, Kansas 67152. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home during normal business hours.
