Mrs. Sharleen Marcella Berry-Sane 06/05/1942-05/21/2024Sharleen Marcella Berry- Sane, Age 81, passed away peacefully in her home on May 21st, 2024. Sharleen was an LPN and worked for Rural Medical Services of Newport for many years until her retirement. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Nanny and Friend. She loved and cherished everyone who she came in to contact with. To know her was to know true love and friendship. Sharleen enjoyed cooking and traveling and spending time with her many family and friends.She is proceeded in death by her husband Clifford Dewayne Sane Sr. of 60 years, parents Clayton and Marcella Berry, father and mother In-law Earl and Ruby Sane, brother and sister in-law Charlie Sane and Violet Wade, special aunt Ms. Rowena Berry, and many other Family who have gone on to be with their Lord and Savior.She is survived by her children Marcee Cruz of Dandridge, Shelley Cruz of Morristown, Ed (Beth Gregg) Cruz of Dandridge, Clifford (Tracy) Sane of Sevierville, Christy (Ralph) Williams of Cosby and Cathy (Robert) LaFollette of Florida: grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved with her whole heart and soul; grandchildren Ashley (Daniel) Dudley, Hamilton "Ben" Morris, Caryn (John) Sentelle, Makayla (TJ) Mckinney, Taylor Sane, Zach Sane, Grant Williams, Jeremy (Patricia) Williams, Nikki (JR) Henry, Ronnie (Deanna) Downs, Matthew Downs, Amanda Downs; great grandchildren Harper, Isaac, Ellie Grace, Caiden, Charlotte, Peyton, Penelope, Alex, Trevor, Ashley, Damion, Shelby, And Eva Grace.Additional survivors include a large host of extended family and many friends from West Virginia, Ohio, and Georgia. As well as many of her former co-workers from Rural Medical and her church family who she loved dearly. And special friends who were like daughters to her: Donna (Odean) Gilliam and Sheila (Clayton) Presnell.We would like to give a special thanks to UT Hospice Care and Merchant's Greene Family Medicine for their wonderful care of our precious Mother.The funeral service will be held Friday May 24, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. at Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Chapel with Rev. Franklin Wines and Rev. John Workman officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Friday May 24th, 2024 prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 A.M Saturday May 25, 2024 at Salem Church Cemetery for the 11:00 A.M. interment.Pallbearers: Ralph Williams, John Sentelle, Hamilton "Ben" Morris, Jeremy Williams, TJ Mckinney, Odean Gilliam.
