I will never forget running track with Sharon! I was a year older but knew from the second she stepped out on the track that she was the real deal. She always made me laugh and smile. Some of us were slackers but not Sharon! I do clearly remember one time when I actually convinced her to cut a lap of the school perimeters. That was so out of character for her. Although she was serious about athletics, she always had fun.We lost touch in adulthood, but when I heard she became an AD, I thought how perfect that position was for her! She was an amazing person whose smile will be remembered.

So sorry to hear about this, Sharon was a force for sure. I did paint crew with her where we called her Jeter as she loved him. She was always up for a good laugh. Ran track with her and watched her excel at pretty much any event she ran. She pushed us to do better as I definitely loved to be a a slacker but she never slacked, which means we had to work harder. Sending my thoughts and prayers and Kevin and family.

Sharon had a really big impact on my life. She taught me so much and helped guide me to decide what I wanted to pursue in college and as a career. I loved learning from her and watching her be an amazing athletic trainer and mother.
