Sharon A. Dobran

NILES-Sharon A. Dobran of Niles passed away unexpectedly on Saturday January 11, 2025, in her home. She was sixty-five years old.
She was born on January 30, 1959, in Youngstown, a daughter of Nicholas and Geraldine (Conklin) Smith and was a graduate of East High School.
Sharon worked for many years at Things Remembered and later for UPS Freight as a logistics coordinator and scheduler for several years.
Sharon loved her family and especially cherished her time with her beloved grandchildren and following their sport activities. She was deeply devoted to her family and faithfully sent out
many Christmas cards and tried to stay in touch with everyone. When not with her family she enjoyed attending craft shows, watching Tom Selleck on Blue Bloods, being outside gardening or doing yardwork around her home.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter Andrea Dobran and her husband Nick Porter, four grandchildren Dominic, Georgiana, Patrick, and Sophia; her siblings Patrick (Kathe) Smith, Michelle (Gary) Peteritis, and Michael Smith: along with many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and by her nephew Kevin Smith.
A memorial service in her honor will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday February 1, 2025 at the First Church of God 1026 Salt Springs Rd Mineral Ridge, OH 44440.
Arrangements are being handled by the Sample-O'Donnell Funeral Home in Sharon.
