Sharon Fainter Obituary
She was born March 21, 1951 in Springfield, Il. daughter of the late Kenneth and Lila Thornton Hohimer.
She married Ralph Fainter on March 21, 1970 in Springfield, Il. and he survives.
Also surviving are their children, Melanie Kaye Nases (Tommy) of Kalispel, MT., Emily Volk (Adam) of Urbana, IL., Amanda Jo Hoover (Jared) of Waldorf, MD; five grandchildren, Samantha, Zachary, Lucy, Brody and Jacob; five siblings, Pat Moses (Ron) of Eugene, OR., Nancy Holshouser (Don) of Springfield, IL., Cindy Gleich (Kirk) of Pawnee, IL., Lisa Hohimer of California, Greg Hohimer (Cecca) of Springfield, IL.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Michael Hohimer.
She attended Williamsville High School and graduated from Springfield High School. She along with her husband owned Faith Trucking. Later she worked for the State of Illinois in various offices. Sharon loved to flower garden and was also a fan of George Strait.
Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salvation Army, Tunnels to Towers, or Wounded Warriors and sent to Neece-Airsman-Hires, 349 E. Tanner, Waverly, Il. 62692. Neece-Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Waverly, IL. is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.airsman-hires.com.
