Sharon J. Grundman of Waukesha passed away following a brief illness on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 77. She was born in Waukesha on February 26, 1947, the daughter of Herman and Catherine (nee Price) Burrow. Sharon was a graduate of Catholic Memorial High School and former member of St. Mary Catholic Church. On January 27, 1968, she married Edward A. Grundman at St. Mary’s; he preceded her in death on April 24, 2019. Sharon loved reading and shopping, especially at area thrift stores. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she was blessed to be able to care for and babysit for all her grandchildren and two oldest great-grandchildren. Sharon had a great sense of humor, was an expert at texting and will be forever missed.
She is survived and loved by her children Tammy Last of Waukesha, Barb (Tim) Werner of Milwaukee, Scott Grundman of Waukesha, and Karen (Rod) Setum of North Prairie. She was the devoted and proud grandma “Gigi” of Kayla (Andy) Calderon, Justin (Briana) Werner, Kirsten Werner, Stephanie, Zachary and Amanda Setum and great-grandchildren Kaylee, A.J., Ella, Titan, and Theo. She is further survived by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her husband Edward and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother James Burrow and sister Mary Majewski.
