CHURCH HILL – Sharon "Nana" Hagood, 67, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 9, 2025.
Sharon was born on November 5, 1957, in Kingsport, TN, to her parents, James and Shirley Hutson. She was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church and was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. Sharon loved her Lord and Savior.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Hutson; infant brother, Edward Hutson; brother, David Smith; sister, Wanda Noel; sister-in-law, Ann Hutson; mother and father-in-law, Jim and Barbara Hagood; and nephew, Christopher Hutson.
Sharon is survived by her husband and faithful caregiver Terry Hagood; sons, Curtis Hagy and wife Rachel, J.R Hagood; grandchildren, Ambria and Jaden Hagy, Caitlyn Cloyd, Drew and Ryleigh Tate, Clara Hagood; great granddaughters, Tahlia and Arella Hagy; brothers, Billy Hutson, Thomas Hutson and wife Linda; sisters, Sandra Smith, Melissa Robertson; sisters in law Vickie Osborne and husband Dennis, Lisa Ferguson and husband Scott; brothers in law, Mike Hagood and wife Elizabeth, Bobby Hagood; nephews, B.J. Hutson, Calvin Noel, Kenny Henry, Chris and Dustin Hagood, Thomas McMillian; nieces, Brandy "Sissy" Cloyd and Nikki Bellamy, Heather Hutson, Amber Osborne and Miranda Ferguson, Alexis Laws, along with several great nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A very special thanks to Ballad Hospice for the wonderful care they provided for Sharon.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 PM with Pastor Billy Linkous officiating.
