Sharon Lee Hulet “GG”, age 88 of Toledo, went on to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Sharon was born to Kenneth and Helen (Johnson) Crandall in Toledo, Ohio, on February 23, 1938. Sharon loved her family, God, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. She worked at the Kmart store in Oregon, Ohio, for many years before retiring. She was strong in her Faith and a member of Calvary Bible Chapel- East. Sharon loved hosting Taco Sundays with her family after church. She loved being a grandmother; when her babies had babies, she became a proud “GG” (great-grandmother) and even prouder to become a “GGG” when her great-great-grandbabies were born.
Sharon is survived by her children Amy Byrd, Linda (D) Erhardt, Robert (Karin) Gaddis, and Kenneth Hulet, son-in-law Bobby Hamilton “outlaw”; grandchildren James (Amanda), Jennifer, Laurie (Chad), Carol (Shawn), Rick (Lisa), Sherri, Gary Lee, Aaron, and Dinae (Larry); 25 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren; siblings Mike (Connie) Crandall, Marilyn (Randy) Brundage, and David (Carol) Crandall; step-children Dave, Diane and Doug Hulet; and special friend Stephanie Pennington. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, and daughter Jody Hamilton.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd. in Oregon, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. with Taco Sunday to follow. The family wishes to thank Elara Care, Majestic Care, and Hospice.
