Sharon Lynn (Noel) Millikan, 77, of Columbia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, with family by her side.
Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was born July 1, 1947, to the late Charles and Mildred Noel in Herrin, Illinois, and was raised in Florissant, Missouri. She met her husband Steven at Hazelwood High School in 1962 at age 15. They were married for 58 years but were together for 62 years.
Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. Sharon had such a sweet soul and a heart for service. She enjoyed the opportunities given to her by helping impact the lives of so many people through her spiritual gifts of faith, mercy, and teaching.
Sharon is survived by her husband Steven Millikan; son, Brandon Millikan and wife Amanda; daughter Kristin Millikan; granddaughters, Jocelyn Millikan and Maya Millikan.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Meagan Millikan and she was looking forward to reuniting with her in heaven.
Sharon's life can be encapsulated in five words: faith, family, friends, fun, and food. In her 77 years, she experienced an abundance of each of those. God had a purpose for her pain, a reason for her health struggles, and a gift for her faithfulness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024 in the Jefferson Chapel at Parker-Millard Funeral Service with a visitation being held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Following the services the burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Memorial contributions may be given to Columbia Second Chance, 24687 Highway 179, Boonville, MO 65233.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker-Millard Funeral Service & Crematory, 12 E. Ash Street, Columbia, MO 65203 (573) 449-4153. Condolences can be shared with the family www.millardfamilychapels.com.
