Sharon Rammelsberg Obituary

Sharon LaDon Rammelsberg, a resident of Cincinnati, OH passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ft. Thomas, KY on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the glorious age of 90 years old.

She was born in Cincinnati, OH on December 17, 1933, the daughter of the late Noble and Una Smith. LaDon was a member of Latonia Baptist Church and worked for many years as a teacher with the Cincinnati School system. In her spare time, LaDon was an avid member of the Queen City Women’s Club, College Club, Cincinnati travel Club and the Towne Club. She also enjoyed dancing and traveling. Here greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her family whom she adored.

Preceding LaDon in death were her parents and her loving husband, Marvin Rammelsberg.

Those left surviving include her daughter, Sharri Rammelsberg; identical twin sister, Saundra Herrmann; grandson, Gustav Rammelsberg; friend, Henry Jaggers; as well as many other relatives and friends who are now sad upon her passing.

A visitation celebrating LaDon’s life will take place from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Pastor Kelly McClendon will officiate. LaDon will then be reunited and laid to rest next to her husband at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
