Funeral services for Sharon G. Sexton will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Max Rasberry officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery in Ringgold, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Sharon was born September 22, 1948, in Choudrant, Louisiana and entered into rest December 28, 2022, in Alexandria, Louisiana. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and making special memories that will be treasured over time.
She is survived by her husband Donavon Sexton of Jamestown; sons Daniel Herrington and wife Karen of Jamestown and Scott Herrington and wife Cyndy of Heflin; grandchildren, Jerry, Justin, Kevin, and Emily Herrington; and great-grandchildren, Merry, Oliver, and Theo.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Herrington, Justin Herrington, Kevin Herrington, Flake Sexton, Gary Bryan, and Gordon Howard.
Honorary pallbearer will be James Sandidge.
