Sharon Teigen, 86, of Vermillion, SD passed away Wednesday, November 27 at the Sanford Vermillion Care Center.
Sharon Maxe was born May 24, 1938 in Brainerd, MN to Ralph and Louise (Schoen) Maxe. She attended schools in Minnesota, and graduated from Minnesota State College with her Associate’s degree. Sharon married Archie Teigen on September 27, 1958 in Brainerd. She worked as a secretary in Brainerd, Mitchell, SD and also Vermillion.
She is survived by her three sons: Rick (Sandy) Teigen of Gregory, SD, Randy (Leann) Teigen of Hannibal, MO and Robert (Theresa) Teigen of Estes Park, CO. She is also survived by two daughters: Sheree (John) Schwartz of Watertown, SD and Susan (Jason) Huska of Vermillion, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a brother John (Betty) Maxe of Florida.
A private burial will be held.
