Sharon Elaine "Sheri" Wright, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on March 4, 2026, in

Her children, Rachelle Lilljedahl and her husband, Rich; Monica Wiersma-Plott and her husband, John; Benjamin Wright IV and his wife, Kelli; and Cassandra Wright and her husband, Robert Gabriel, will carry forward the lessons of kindness and compassion that Sheri exemplified.

Her great-grandchildren, Addison Wiersma, Anya Wiersma, Noah Wiersma, Harper Wiersma, and Zaylah Lilljedahl, will grow up with stories of their "CiCi's" love and the warmth of her embrace.
Sheri's early life in Laredo laid the foundation for her nurturing spirit and her dedication to her family and community. Sheri's love story with her beloved husband, Benjie, spanned six decades, and together they built a legacy of love and family that will endure. The house they built together became a home where holidays were joyful, birthdays and milestones were celebrated, and generations of family came together to share meals, laughter, and life's accomplishments. A comforting presence in times of need, Sheri's ability to listen and offer wise counsel made her a pillar in her church and her community.
She enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, painting, and gardening. She also enjoyed singing and playing the piano. Her annual trips to the beach with her family were a source of great happiness and provided unforgettable memories that will be treasured forever. She loved playing games and could bend any game's rules to her advantage.
As we remember Sheri, we celebrate the beauty and kind-heartedness she shared. Her life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of family bonds. Sheri will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us every day.
A celebration of Sheri's life will be held at Harrell Funeral Home, 1715 Kirby,
Kyle, Texas, on Friday, March 13, at 11 a.m. A reception from 12-2 p.m. will follow.
